The company was founded in 1920, and since, has been a recognized
name in the aerospace industry and became a leader in the in-flight
air quality business (filtration, humidification…). In April
2005, Le Bozec Filtration & Systems was acquired by Donaldson.
Le Bozec Filtration & Systems has always been involved in the
development of civil and military aeronautic programs. Le Bozec Filtration
& Systems designs and manufactures equipment for fuel, hydraulic
fluids and air management on aircrafts and helicopters. They consist
of filters, indicators and pressurization system. Recently, the company
has produced a new Rain Repellent fluid
CFC free (to be applied on cockpit windshield for landing in rainy
conditions) which equips all production Airbuses. Certification on
other aircrafts is underway. Le Bozec Filtration & Systems has
developed a cabin air humidification system
used in commercial and business aircrafts. Office and plant are located
in the Paris area.
The clearly stated policy of Le Bozec is to be a major player
in the markets it has chosen. In order to be able to implement this policy, Le
Bozec has hired extremely qualified and international staff.
As a result, Le Bozec has been successful in pursuing new projects
on a worldwide basis and getting the
necessary certifications. Evidence
of such actions is the position of leader achieved in the air
quality aero ( Filtration, Humidification) and the Rain Repellent
